Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a medical surgical telemetry unit. The RN will be required to adapt to both dayshift and night shift schedules based on the needs of the unit.

Shift Information

  • 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a medical surgical telemetry setting.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, making necessary adjustments in care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care options.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS.
  • Additional certifications preferred: CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, C-EFM.

Holiday Coverage

Availability for holiday coverage is required.
