Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry unit requiring an active IA or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Details

• Medical inpatient unit within a regional hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Epic EMR
• Manages drips including heparin, cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• IL license required at time of offer
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least one completed travel contract preferred
• New grads accepted
• Driver's license required for consideration
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required
• Cannot have been employed by the facility within the last 12 months

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Level 3 trauma center
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility
