Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift hospital position requiring at least 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months (co-worker references not accepted)
• Active AHA certifications required, no pending certifications accepted

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on the night shift
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travel experience not required, making this role open to first-time travelers
