Job Overview: Seeking an experienced ICU RN to care for adult and geriatric critically ill patients in a 16-bed ICU/CVICU. The RN will manage complex cardiac, respiratory, neurological, trauma, and post-surgical cases while floating to Intermediate Care and ED holding as needed.
Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM | 3×12s
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Unit: Blended ICU / ICU-CVICU | 16 beds
Ratio: 1:2
Experience: 2+ years required
Travel Experience: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
Trauma Level: III
EMR: Medhost
Float: Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed
Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
Equipment: Baxter pumps
Common Cases: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD, Sepsis, CABG, Valve Repair/Replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A-Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR
Local Rule: Candidates must live 60+ miles away to be considered for travel
Block Scheduling: Not accepted
Facility: community hospital and regional referral center; Joint Commission accredited and Certified Chest Pain Center
