Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring weekend availability and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend coverage required as a backfill position
• Floating required within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• AHA-issued BLS/ACLS certification required prior to start (non-AHA certifications accepted at submission)
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care on a busy medical telemetry unit
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
