Job Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Experience caring for critically ill adult and geriatric patients
• Comfort working in a fast-paced ICU/CVICU environment
• Ability to float as needed to Intermediate Care and ED holding for admitted patients
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and critical thinking

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex cardiac, medical, and surgical conditions
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient status in a critical care setting
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and maintain accurate documentation in the EHR
• Care for diagnoses such as STEMI, NSTEMI, sepsis, COPD exacerbation, stroke, trauma, and more
• Support advanced treatments and procedures, including CRRT and post-operative cardiac care
• Use clinical equipment and technology effectively to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Float to other units as needed while maintaining a high standard of care
