Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring a Maine or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Med Surg Telemetry unit on the 4th floor
• Night shift, 13-week assignment
• Shift hours from 18:45 to 07:15
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Float policy of 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• AHA certifications must be completed prior to start if non-AHA certifications are submitted upon consideration
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are eligible for consideration at a local rate
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewal or extension of contract
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract, subject to manager discretion
• Candidates who worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this for consideration
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone use are prohibited on the unit
