• Shift Schedule: Day and night rotation, typically 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Special Notes: May float to similar patient-population units as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience; travel RN experience may count
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required and active
• One manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty within the last 12 months
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be successfully completed during orientation
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday
• Comfortable with a rotating schedule and changing operational needs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients in a fast-paced acute care setting
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition promptly
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and coordinate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective treatment
• Document accurately and maintain strong clinical standards throughout every shift
• Float to similar units when needed while caring for the same patient population
• Participate in orientation, required testing, and ongoing unit readiness
