Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or Compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• May float to other units within the same facility to care for the same patient population
• Every other holiday coverage is required

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry required (may be from multiple locations; travel experience also accepted)
• A copy of your Driver's License and Social Security Card are required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required to proceed
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before starting a new assignment at any location within this health system
