Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool RN for a night shift travel position requiring float flexibility across units and hospitals.

Details

• Float pool role covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Requires willingness to float to other units and hospitals as needed
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• 36 to 48 hours per week accepted
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Uses Meditech EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (State of Alabama or Compact) required, no temporary licenses accepted
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required
• Associate degree in nursing required
• 2 years overall specialty experience required, or 18 months with 1 year of recent specialty experience while working at the highest level of professional license
• NURSYS license verification required
• No license restrictions or violations, past or current, allowed

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Med/Surg and Telemetry patients as part of a hospital-wide float team
• Dress code requires solid navy scrubs
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mileage restrictions
• Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
