Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a Massachusetts license and 2+ years of experience, with floating to another facility as needed.

Details

• Nursing Float Pool unit in a hospital setting
• Medical-Surgical Telemetry specialty
• 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Required to float to Addison Gilbert Hospital as needed
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand
• BLS-AHA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a day-one pass/fail competency test upon arrival at orientation (one attempt only)
• Must pass Relias testing during onboarding to prepare for onsite testing (two attempts allowed)

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care as part of the Nursing Float Pool
• No holiday RTO permitted during this assignment
• Required vaccinations include COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
