Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and current telemetry experience.

Details

• 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Patients present with a wide variety of acute conditions and multiple comorbidities
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification required
• Current telemetry experience required
• Med/Surg experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Strong time management and communication skills required
• Must pass a one-time ECG/Tele and medication proctored exam prior to acceptance

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric med/surg telemetry patients with acute and complex conditions
• Orientation is scheduled on a biweekly basis
• Hiring manager will conduct interviews and extend offers
• RTO requests must be submitted for consideration prior to interview
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and local candidates will not be accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
