Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care and monitoring in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in the MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, including telemetry readings.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in and coordinate patient education and discharge planning.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans and adjust as necessary based on patient needs.
• Float to similar units as needed to support departmental operations.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. Required working days include every other weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (MA RN License).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry nursing.
• Experience with Meditech software is required.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Ability to take a telemetry test on the first day of orientation.
