Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in MedSurg and Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in MedSurg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Work collaboratively to coordinate patient care and ensure safety and comfort.
• Participate in unit-based initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
• Floating to similar units as needed to meet patient care demands.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA).
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility to work day shifts, with a schedule of 36 hours per week consisting of three 12-hour shifts. The position includes working every other weekend and holiday.

Additional Information

A Telemetry test will be administered on the first day of orientation to ensure competency in monitoring and interpreting telemetry data.
