Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg/Telemetry team. This role will involve providing high-quality care to patients in an acute care setting, with a focus on medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients.
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry readings to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health management and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Massachusetts RN License.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of MedSurg/Telemetry experience in an acute care facility.
• Experience with Meditech software highly preferred.
• Travel experience is required.

Schedule

This position offers a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a commitment to a 36-hour weekly schedule, including every other weekend and holiday.

Situated in a dynamic healthcare environment, the position is located in a facility in Massachusetts.
