Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Float Pool position requiring MA licensure and at least 2 years of Med Surg Tele experience.

Details

• Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shift, 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, 36 hours per week
• Weekends and holidays expected
• Float required to like units and overflow areas

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
• Must pass Telemetry Competency Exam
• Documented professional developmental activities and knowledge of critical paths required
• Charge Nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed, requiring an 85% passing score with no remediation or re-sit opportunity
• Testing must be completed within 48 hours of offer via Zoom with CCH
• Flu vaccine required during compliance period, with medical exemptions allowed
• COVID vaccine plus booster also required, with medical exemptions allowed
• Maximum of 3 days RTO permitted with no holiday RTO approved
• Previous BILH employees (Travel, Perm, Per Diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
• No local candidates accepted
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
