Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a float pool night shift position requiring at least 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience and current ACLS certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Float Pool position covering all Med/Surg Telemetry floors as needed
• Float required to like units and overflow areas
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Weekend and holiday shifts expected

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
• Must pass a Telemetry Competency Exam
• Must pass ECG/Tele and Medications tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed, within 48 hours of offer
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Documented professional development activities and knowledge of critical paths preferred

Additional Information

• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients across multiple units as part of the float pool team
• Nurse Manager will conduct interviews and extend offers
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before being considered
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• RTO requests and interview availability must be submitted in advance
