Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a float pool position requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele experience and a MA RN license.

Details

• Float pool position covering all Med/Surg Telemetry floors as needed
• Also expected to float to like units and overflow areas
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Weekends and holidays expected

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Must pass a Telemetry Competency Exam
• Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medications tests during onboarding, administered via Zoom within 48 hours of offer with only one attempt allowed and no remediation
• Documented professional development activities and knowledge of critical paths required
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a float pool supporting Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Biweekly orientation schedule
• Required vaccines include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius and local candidates are not accepted
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
