Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit is responsible for monitoring adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions, including cardiac issues. The role requires PCU experience and skills in reading strips.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient conditions and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Titrate and administer cardiovascular drips, including Amio, Cardizem, and Heparin.
• Provide care for patients in PCU level care and those with overflow conditions.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement patient care plans.

Requirements:

• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Proficiency in telemetry and cardiac care, with PCU experience.
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotate in various units as needed.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
