Certifications/Licenses:
- BLS
- Allied License/Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant.
- Previous EPIC experience preferred.
- Work hours will range between 6:45am and 6pm with Tuesday having extended hours until 8pm.
- MA must work up until the Physician is completed with all patients. Therefore, they need someone who can stay beyond their end time to finish out the day if/when needed.
- Schedules are adjusted as needed in cases of shifts worked over 8 hours. The practice manager releases shift schedules 1 week in advance.
- Medical Assistant (MA) assists the practice manager and physicians in maintaining a patient/customer focus, supports the delivery of high-quality care, shares a passion for patient and customer centered care, and assists in meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets.
- Provides patient care through performance of patient preparation, interviewing, technical tasks, and patient/family communication.
- Need minimal training and is able to come in and contribute to practice immediately.
