- BLS, CMA
- Urgent Care Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
- Schedule: 2x12hr + 2x8hr (Tues, Weds, Fri, Sat /// OFF Sun, Mon, Thurs)
- Tuesday: 7:45a - 8:15p
- Wednesday: 9:30a - 6:00p
- Friday: 7:45a - 8:15p
- Saturday: 7:45a - 4:15p
- Experience: 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting
- Weekend REQ: Yes, every Saturday (OFF Sundays)
- REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Vital Signs:
- Height/Weight
- Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG
- Obtain Vital Signs
- Pulse Oximetry
- Vision testing
- Prepare for Exam:
- Record History/Medications/Allergies
- Set Up and Assist with Procedures:
- Nebulizer Treatments
- Injections:
- Immunizations
- Intramuscular
- Specimen Collection:
- Labeling of specimens
- Throat
- Urine - UA/Clean Catch
- Laboratory Tests:
- Blood Glucose via Glucometer
- Pregnancy
- Strep
- Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis
- Office Duties:
- Stocking Supplies
- Professional Knowledge and Skills:
- Administering Medication
- Ear Lavage
- Rooming Patients
- Type of Facility: Urgent Care Clinic
- Charting: EPIC (experience REQUIRED)
