Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) to support a Hematology/Oncology ambulatory clinic. The position will work closely with patients receiving oncology and hematology care and will provide clinical and administrative support to the care team.

The ideal candidate should have strong venipuncture and phlebotomy skills, be proficient with Epic, and be comfortable working in an ambulatory oncology/hematology setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to Hematology and Oncology patients
• Perform venipuncture and phlebotomy
• Document patient information accurately in Epic
• Assist with order transcription as needed
• Perform chart abstraction and maintain accurate medical records
• Support the Hematology/Oncology and laboratory teams
• Follow clinic policies and maintain a professional patient-care environment
