Job Description
The Certified Medical Assistant (Behavioral Health) provides clinical and administrative support under the direct supervision of physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care and clinic operations. Responsibilities include assisting with patient examinations, obtaining vital signs, performing blood draws, injections, immunizations, laboratory testing, and other procedures within the Medical Assistant scope of practice. The role supports patient flow, prepares exam rooms, maintains medical records, coordinates referrals and documentation, and communicates patient instructions as directed by providers.
