Job Description
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) responsible for managing patient flow and supporting providers in a busy outpatient clinic setting.
Performs rooming procedures, vital signs, immunizations, injections, medication administration, and specimen collection.
Provides patient communication support, assists with prescription refills, scheduling, prior authorizations, and care coordination.
May perform phlebotomy, laboratory testing, X-ray duties (if qualified), and front desk/check-in responsibilities.
Ensures accurate documentation and collaborates with providers, nurses, and clinic leadership to deliver quality patient care.
Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, current BLS certification, and commitment to exceptional patient service.
