Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Tacoma, WA 98404. This is a 3+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

Job Name: Medical Assistant

Location: Tacoma, WA 98404

Duration: 3+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension or conversion)

Payrate: $26/hr -30/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Schedule: 7AM - 5:30PM (40 hours per week)

Work days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (Mondays off)

Job Responsibilities: rooming, inbasket, paperwork

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) through the Washington State Department of Health
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)

What skills/attributes are nice to have, and will set a candidate apart?

  • 5+ years of experience working as an Medical Assistant
  • Bilingual English and Spanish

Type of certification required: MA-C or MA-R
