Medical Assistant - Rheumatology Practice (Temp-to-Perm)

Position Overview

• Temp-to-Perm opportunity - candidates must be seeking a long-term career position
• Located within a Rheumatology practice in Phoenixville, PA
• Candidates should be able to commute to the practice in 45 minutes or less
• Interview format: In-person, onsite

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Shift hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Candidates are asked to be flexible; core hours are between 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM
• Specific schedule details will be discussed with candidates during the interview

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals
• Perform phlebotomy
• Use EMR to alert providers that the patient is ready
• Review past medical, surgical, family, and smoking history
• Review allergies and medications
• Front desk work and meeting patients
• Schedule visits and manage clinical phone communication
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years working in a physician office setting
• EPIC experience is a plus
• CMA Cert
