Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) located in a high-acuity, fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The position involves caring for critically ill patients with complex conditions, including respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, multisystem organ failure, and more. The role requires a nurse with solid critical care experience and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, providing high-level patient care for adult and geriatric populations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; at least 2 years of ICU critical care experience; valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission).
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with arterial line management, intubation, chest tube placement, and other high-acuity procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required; nurse should be prepared to float to Telemetry units if census needs arise.
• Additional Information: This unit manages patients with complex and critically ill conditions, often involving ventilator management, arterial lines, and advanced cardiac and respiratory care. The unit is fully staffed most of the time but may require occasional floating. No prohibited content included.
