Job Details
Position Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience.
Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient?s health or situation, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, evaluates progress, and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide safe, healing, and humane care. Participates in discharge planning and delegates duties appropriately within the healthcare team.
Organizational Requirements: All associates are required to receive all mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter unless exemptions apply. Participation in E-Verify program is required.
