Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring an active MA license, Level 1 trauma experience, and a commitment to every third weekend shifts.
Details
- Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of a hospital environment
- 12-hour rotating night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Every third weekend shift required
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
- Current certifications: CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
- Minimum 2+ years of related MICU work experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Must complete Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing services to medically complex ICU patients
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
- Nurse manager will conduct interviews and extend offers directly
- Candidates must be able to provide interview availability at time of consideration
- Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position
- Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break in service before returning to any BILH facility
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to consideration for the role
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
