Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Medical Registered Nurse (RN) position in Plano, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care in an ICU/CCU unit, supporting critically ill patients with a variety of procedures and monitoring requirements. The position requires working nights with flexible scheduling and adhering to unit-specific policies and protocols.

Job Details

• Location: Plano, TX
• Shift: Nights (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: Nights, 48 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Certifications: Active RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted), BLS, and ACLS in Submission Packet
• Required Qualifications: 2+ years of hospital experience, 2+ years of ICU/CCU specialty experience, BLS, ACLS, Texas RN license, and minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, TNCC, CCRN, TCRN certifications
• Core Procedures: Central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, chest tube insertions
• Patient Ratio: 2:1 in ICU/CCU units with unit staff including supervisors on each shift and PCT support
• Staffing: Supervisor present on every shift, PCT support available
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Float Policy: Float may be required as needed
• Dress Code: RN: Royal Blue scrubs, neat and clean appearance, no artificial nails or extreme hairstyles, body art should be covered when possible, visible piercings excluding ears are prohibited
• No RTO (Request for Time Off) or special scheduling requests accepted; start date within 5-7 days of offer
