Requirements
Perform assigned laboratory analysis and report results according to department procedures and regulations.
Maintain laboratory quality control standards.
Maintain and operate laboratory equipment according to required schedules and instructions.
Correlate laboratory results with clinical findings through chart review and consultation with nursing and medical staff.
Perform receptionist and phlebotomy duties as assigned.
Follow all applicable state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory testing and analysis accurately and efficiently.
Document and report laboratory results.
Conduct quality control procedures.
Perform routine equipment maintenance.
Review patient charts and collaborate with clinical staff regarding laboratory findings.
Assist with specimen collection and phlebotomy duties.
Provide receptionist support when needed.
Maintain compliance with laboratory and healthcare regulations.
