Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - $1,610 per week in Coos Bay, OR

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician Profession: Medical Laboratory Specialty: Medical Laboratory Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 0 years License: BLS Certifications: BS in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science (Copy of academic degree or transcript required upon hire) Must-Have: Working knowledge of LIS and HIS computer systems. Experience with specialized automated analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, microscopes, and Pevco pneumatic system. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Description: This position will consider candidates with less than one year of experience. Candidates must possess a BLS certification. A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science is required. A copy of the academic degree or transcript must be provided upon hire. Candidates should have a working knowledge of laboratory information systems and hospital information systems. Experience with specialized automated analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, microscopes, and the Pevco pneumatic system is essential. The candidate must be able to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs. The urgency for filling this position is normal. Holiday coverage is not required.
