Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Tech Specialty: MLS Generalist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hours Hours per Shift: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with weekends and holidays as needed Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not required for submission Certifications: BLS (AHA) Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via AMT Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) via ASCP Must-Have Skills: Experience in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Blood Bank Familiarity with LIS Systems (e.g. EPIC Beaker) Experience with specific equipment including Abbott Alinity, Immucor ECHO, Sysmex XN3100, Sysmex CA5100, and CA2500 Description: The position requires a Medical Technologist with a generalist background. Candidates will be responsible for conducting tests in Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Blood Bank. Experience in the laboratory information system (LIS) is essential, particularly with EPIC Beaker. The technologist will work in a dynamic environment that requires adaptability and attention to detail. Teamwork and collaboration with other healthcare professionals are integral to this role. Weekends and holidays are part of the scheduling requirements. A professional appearance is expected, adhering to dress code standards.
