Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - $1,634 per week in Humble, TX

Job Title: Medical Technologist Profession: Medical Technologist Specialty: Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00-14:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year of Client Laboratory experience License: MLT or MT from an accredited school Certifications: ASCP or AMT certification preferred Must-Have: Candidates must have the following skills: - Client Laboratory experience - MLT or MT graduated from an accredited school - Experience in reading plates/cultures - 3+ years in microbiology - Meditech Expanse experience preferred Description: This position involves data collection and various laboratory responsibilities. The unit comprises over 450 beds and is staffed by 65-75 personnel. In the lab, there are 5 staff members in microbiology. Typical staffing on day shift includes 1 supervisor, 1 tech, and 1 lab assistant. Evening shift has 2 techs. There is no night shift. The patient ratios are not applicable. The laboratory testing performed includes pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical procedures. Candidates who are outgoing, courteous, team-oriented, friendly, and multi-tasking are preferred. Required certifications include ASCP or AMT. Laboratory policies and section training will be provided.
