Key Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician
Perform laboratory tests with accuracy and precision
Handle pediatric and blood bank specimens effectively
Operate Cerner Millennium and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics chemistry analyzer
Ensure proper documentation and lab reporting
Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technician
Minimum of 3 years' experience required
Registered Laboratory Technician with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or American Medical Technologists
AHA BLS certification required
Experience with Blood Bank and Pediatrics required
Preferred experience in phlebotomy
