Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - $2,142 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Medical Lab Technician Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Valid State License Required Certifications: ASCP, AMT, or AAB in either MLT or MLS Required Must-Have: - Acute Care/Inpatient Experience - Epic Experience - Siemens Atellica Experience Preferred Description: Medical Lab Technician or Medical Lab Scientist position available. The assignment is 13 weeks long. Shifts are 5x8 nights from 22:00 to 06:30. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. New candidates are accepted only if they have at least 2 years of experience. Certifications required include ASCP, AMT, or AAB in either MLT or MLS. Candidates should have skills in acute care settings and experience with Epic. Experience with Siemens Atellica is preferred. There is no on-call requirement. Weekend coverage is necessary, with at least every other weekend required. Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby facilities. Hepatitis B vaccines are required, and titers or declination will not be accepted. References are required covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years. Candidates must be separated from permanent positions for a minimum of 3 months before returning as travelers. Travelers are allowed to work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in their assignment. Travelers must take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning for another assignment.
