Job Title: Clinical Lab Scientist Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Clinical Lab Scientist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (06:00 - 14:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in clinical laboratory License: Valid license required Certifications: Required certifications in laboratory science Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Experience in community hospitals - Knowledge of specific laboratory skills Description: This position involves working within a clinical laboratory setting. The candidate will have experience in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, serology, and limited microbiology. Blood bank experience is required. The lab will support a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population. The candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures. Responsibilities include specimen collection, accessioning, and quality assurance. The candidate must be familiar with different charting systems, particularly any platform. Floating between facilities may be necessary during the assignment. Flexibility to work during major holidays is a requirement. References may be requested prior to the start of the assignment. Communication devices may be provided for the role as needed. Candidates should be prepared to explore housing options in the area as availability may be limited. Completion of any required modules is necessary for compliance.
