Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Step-Down unit requiring a minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical Step-Down unit of a hospital environment
• Care for patients requiring medical step-down level of care
• 13-week assignment
• Choice of 12-hour day shifts (7am-7pm) or night shifts (7pm-7am)
• Holiday and weekend rotation required
• No guaranteed hours
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association only
• Minimum of 1 year critical care or step-down experience required
• BSN or other Magnet-recognized professional certification preferred
• 2 years critical care or step-down experience preferred
