Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with block scheduling. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Patient ratio 1:2.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and average daily census of 14 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy
• Epic charting system with 12-hour orientation period
• Specialized equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) for advanced critical care
• Float based on schedule with one pre-approved time off period
• 91-day contract duration through November 24, 2026

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; Preferred: NIHSS, PALS
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios preferred
• Core competencies: ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, titration of vasoactive and cardiac drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, and high flow nasal cannula
• Must complete onboarding core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
