Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:2. Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Float based on schedule.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and daily census of 14 patients
• 91-day travel assignment with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with 12-hour orientation provided
• Work with advanced equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage), ventilators, and critical care monitoring systems
• Collaborative environment supporting adults and geriatric patient populations
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS; NIHSS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios preferred
• Skills in ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration, vasoactive drip titration, and critical care procedures
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply to certain local counties
