Job Summary Medical Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Multisite (including the Portland area) This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult oncology patients across various units within the organization. The role offers opportunities to float between units, ensuring flexibility and broad clinical experience, with scheduled nights shifts.
Job Details
Position: MS Oncology RN The role involves delivering patient-centered care in a dedicated oncology unit with a focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.
Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid state license (compact license accepted), current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 1 year of recent clinical experience in an oncology or medical-surgical setting.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with a schedule starting on 11/09/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027. Shifts include every other weekend and require working three out of five major holidays.
Additional Unit and Role Details: The position involves floating across multiple units based on skill set, with clinical support such as IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. The role includes patient care for post-operative oncology patients, managing central lines and drains, administering chemotherapy, and providing education and support to patients and families.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to the query regarding prior experience at a healthcare facility associated with the organization and include two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
