Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor nurse position located on the days shift at a healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized patient care within an oncology unit that includes inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy administration, as well as medical-surgical overflow. The position supports a dynamic clinical environment focused on delivering quality oncology services.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (Nursys License or equivalent), professional experience in medical-surgical and oncology nursing, completion of Ascension Resume, Ascension Profile, and two professional references, and successful completion of the Ascension Skills Checklist
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in oncology settings and familiarity with chemotherapy administration protocols
  • Additional Information: The role involves caring for oncology patients with inpatient and outpatient treatments, supporting unit operations during med-surg overflow, and adhering to institutional policies and clinical standards.
