Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor nurse position located in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care on an oncology unit with a focus on team collaboration and patient-centered treatment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to comprehensive cancer care.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: License (RN/CNA), BLS certification, 1 year of experience, location in North Carolina, 0 years minimum experience
Preferred Qualifications: Chemo certification
Float: Float rotation may be required to other medical-surgical units
Additional Information: The unit has 24 beds with a staff of 42, including RNs, CNAs, and other personnel. Typical procedures performed include occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis. Candidates should be team players and willing to learn. The dress code for registered nurses is navy, white, or a combination of both colors. Basic hospital policies and guidelines apply.
