Job Summary: Palo Alto, California The organization is seeking a Clinical Nurse (CN) on the Medical Surgical Oncology Floor. This role involves providing evidence-based, hands-on patient care within the scope of practice regulated by the California Nursing Practice Act, with a focus on family-centered care and safety. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; Able to communicate effectively in English.
Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse will assess patient needs, collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized plans of care, implement and evaluate interventions, teach patients and families, and contribute to team building and professional growth. The role also emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and effective communication.
