Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nursing role is based in Palo Alto, California. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care within an evidence-based framework, adhering to the Scope of Practice outlined by the nursing profession, regulatory agencies, standards of care, and hospital policies. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support patient recovery and well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English. No minimum years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical-surgical oncology nursing is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to rapidly identify clinical problems, respond to emergencies, and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
