Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Medical Surgical Orthopedic Care for a night shift position based in Gallatin, Tennessee. This role involves providing high-quality care to a geriatric, adult, and pediatric patient population (age 13 and older) in a 23-bed healthcare facility with Level III Trauma Center status. The RN will be responsible for managing post-operative joints, bariatric, trauma patients, and more, ensuring optimal patient outcomes during overnight hours.
Job Details
-Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
-Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per week
-Position: RN in Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor
-Number of Openings: 1 (Replacement of permanent staff)
-Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Tennessee, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); at least 1 year of clinical experience; willing to float as needed.
-Preferred Qualifications: Good assessment skills, highly motivated, teamwork-oriented, excellent customer service.
-Additional Information: Orientation is conducted weekly, on Mondays. Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel. All clinical staff on assignment in Tennessee must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to start date. The unit primarily cares for geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients (13+). The environment emphasizes hardworking, compassionate, and inquisitive personalities. Scrub attire must be logoed with the hospital logo; acrylic nails are not permitted.
