• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment preferred/required
• 2 years of experience in Med/Surg nursing required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment
• Ability to manage a 1:6 patient ratio on days and nights
• Must be comfortable with strict attendance expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, diabetes, amputations, wound care needs, and more
• Administer and monitor medications and treatments as ordered
• Support patient recovery, safety, and satisfaction through attentive bedside care
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the care team in a busy acute care setting
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in MEDITECH
• Float to related acute care areas as needed within scope and competency
