• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Charting System: MEDITECH
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend; rotating with permanent staff

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required; Med/Surg RN or acute care experience preferred
• Experience with at least 1 travel assignment preferred
• 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or specialty nursing role preferred
• BLS (AHA) required
• NIHSS required
• ACLS preferred
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfort working with patient ratios similar to 1:6 on days and nights
• Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and reliable attendance

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult Med/Surg and acute care patients
• Care for patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, dialysis-related needs, DVTs, ETOH withdrawal, and psych-related concerns
• Support post-surgical overflow, amputations, debridements, wound care, and other complex medical needs
• Administer medications and therapies including Lasix, Bumex, and Heparin as ordered
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective treatment plans
• Work closely with CNAs, LPNs, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated nursing care
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when needed
• Maintain professional standards, follow unit policies, and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
