Travel Nurse Job Details

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required, including 1 travel assignment
• BLS certification from AHA required
• NIHSS certification from AHA required
• MEDITECH experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize patient care, and float as needed

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and acute care patients
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe outcomes
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record
• Support patient flow and assist with unit needs across designated acute care areas
• Maintain a professional, team-focused approach throughout each shift
