Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient General Surgery position on a busy Ortho/Urology unit, requiring active MA licensure and prior Level 1 trauma experience.

Details

• 36-bed adult inpatient Ortho/Urology surgical unit
• Cares for orthopedic and urologic patients, both pre- and post-surgical intervention
• Patients admitted from the Emergency Department, front door, or clinical admissions
• 13-week assignment with day/night rotating shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• 2+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience required
• 1+ years of travel nursing experience required
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to surgical, orthopedic, and urologic inpatients
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility to be eligible, at a reduced rate
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
